If your Labrador is going to spend time outside he will need a den, somewhere to retreat to for some ‘me time’, shelter from rain and shade himself from the sun.
It has to big enough for a full-sized lab to be comfortable, waterproof, ventilated for those hot summer days, warm enough for winter and easy to clean for hygiene purposes.
The greatest satisfaction is in building your own, but if you can’t do that don’t skimp on something inadequate for his needs, too small, too flimsy, or too cold in winter and too hot in summer.
We build our own but a pal ordered one of these and had been singing its praises, we took a look and are very impressed with the quality, they even glaze the windows with perspex
Tip: You can put a flap over the door to keep it warm in winter, you can buy suitable ones online, our pal made one out of some old plastic sheeting.
This is 1 metre x 1.5 metres x 1.2 metres high (approx 3ft x 5ft x 4ft) more than big enough for the largest Labrador. Delivered fully assembled, if you require it flat packed contact Northumberland Joinery before placing your order.
